Taste of Bangkok began in 2010 with a simple dream.​ Two immigrants from Burma came to Akron hoping to build a better life for themselves and their daughters. What they brought with them was a deep love for cooking and a belief that hospitality is universal.​

In Asian culture, welcoming others with food is second nature — like a mother language. A warm meal, a shared table, and the comfort of flavors that feel like home.​What began as a way to survive became something more: a place where the bold, vibrant flavors of Bangkok could be shared with the Akron community.​
