OUR STORY
Taste of Bangkok began in 2010 with a simple dream. Two immigrants from Burma came to Akron hoping to build a better life for themselves and their daughters. What they brought with them was a deep love for cooking and a belief that hospitality is universal.
In Asian culture, welcoming others with food is second nature... like a mother language. A warm meal, a shared table, and the comfort of flavors that feel like home. What began as a way to survive became something more: a place where the bold, vibrant flavors of Bangkok could be shared with the Akron community.
Today, every dish we serve carries that story, one of family, resilience, and the joy of bringing people together through food.
